DALLAS – You couldn’t miss Kerrick Huggins on Friday night.
At 6-foot-3 and 285 pounds, the three-star Dallas Skyline defensive tackle usually towers over his peers. This night was no different from the rest, with the Texas A&M pledge serving as the key disruptive cog in Skyline’s defense in a 56-24 rout of Dallas Jesuit.
Huggins couldn’t have been happier after the victory. After watching Thomas Johnson and Peter Jinkens lead Skyline to the 5A state semifinals last year, he knows it’s on him and his fellow seniors to keep the Raiders on a roll.
