As kickoff approached, Kenny Flowers took in the atmosphere at Kyle Field. The Hutchinson (Kan.) Community College outside linebacker got a pretty good feeling inside as players came onto the field and the crowd of more than 86,000 roared in the heart of College Station, Texas.
"It felt good," he said. "I felt like I wanted to be in pads and making tackles out there."
Flowers, who is teammates with Texas A&M commitment and Hutchinson defensive tackle Rob Zimmerman, has long thought about the Aggies when it comes to his recruitment. And though he had a productive, positive trip while taking his official visit to the campus over the weekend, he wasn't yet ready to commit, but the Aggies appear to lead in the race for his services.
