Notes: 20 TAMU commits attend opener

Not everyone that Texas A&M was counting on to be at Kyle Field showed up on Saturday, but the Aggies still had a busy weekend when it came to hosting recruits.

Of the 28 commitments in the Aggies' 2013 class, 20 were present for the Florida game. Also present were several Texas A&M 2014 targets, including La Porte (Texas) linebacker Hoza Scott, who called the game day atmosphere at Kyle Field "amazing."

One of the commitments, Auburn (Ala.) High School athlete Cameron Echols-Luper, made his official visit over the weekend. Echols-Luper, who was hosted by Aggies freshman quarterback Matt Davis, was blown away.
