Linebacker Tyler Burke knows it's time to start taking a closer look at colleges.

Two weeks ago, the prospect out of Coatesville, Pa., focused on basketball. He'd wake up at 8 a.m. Saturday for a shootaround, take a nap, play a game and then stay up late to catch up with coaches on Facebook or reporters on the phone. But since basketball ended last week, the stressed-out rising senior has started scheduling visits.

Welcome to NittanyNation's bi-weekly mailbag! We asked you to tweet your questions this week, and we've selected three to answer in-depth -- starting with the question we received most.

Scott Reading (@7reading7) writes:
What will be the biggest challenge for O'Brien this upcoming season? I feel it'll be the secondary.

Josh Moyer: Well, the secondary certainly isn't a bad choice. But with both safeties returning and another year under Adrian Amos' belt, I think we can all agree they should be improved overall from last season. But it's definitely far from a strength.

HERSHEY, Pa. -- Tyler Burke stood near the sideline, watching his breath and waiting for his Coatesville, Pa., team to hear its cue to run on the field one last time this season, in the state title game.

Before the muffled PA announcer mentioned the 2014 linebacker or the Red Raiders, a familiar face caught Burke's eye in the corner of the end zone. He looked for a moment or two at the tall man standing in a blue coat -- a Penn State coat -- and realized it was linebackers coach Ron Vanderlinden.

The 6-foot-4, 240-pound junior wasn't surprised.

HARRISBURG, Pa. -- Middle linebacker Tyler Burke sneaked up to the line of scrimmage Friday and darted for the quarterback as soon as the center flinched. Immediate sack.
