Pro Day notables: Said his knee probably was still sore at the combine, but he didn't want to shy away from the drills. Felt much better on Monday. Turned in a 4.97-second 40 and increased his broad jump by eight inches.
Watching the draft: "I usually always sit down every year and watch it. It's just something I like. Me being a football player is one thing, but me being a fan is another. And that's what I've always done. I'm a fan of the game, so I know everybody. I know all the players' names and what they did and stuff like that. Especially me being in college, I had to keep up with other big names and stuff like that -- so I'll be seeing where they're going and wanting to know where everybody's at."
Combine numbers: Missed an invitation to the combine by two votes.
Pro day notables: Helped his stock considerably. Did 18 reps on the bench press and clocked an official 40 time of 4.35 seconds. He spoke to a number of teams, including the New England Patriots, Denver Broncos and Houston Texans. Was told they wished he had played in the new defensive scheme for longer because he's clearly more suited for man coverage.
Watching the draft: "Not the first day. I always watch all three days, but I'm not going to watch the first day. And I'll definitely watch the second and third day."
Pro Day notables: Improved broad jump by six inches. Didn't take part in other drills because he didn't feel he could improve his numbers much; also didn't want to risk unnecessary injury.
Watching the draft: "Oh, I'm watching the NFL draft. I'm not one of those guys where I got to go fishing or something. I'm not a headcase like that -- I'm definitely watching the draft. It'll be fun. I'm probably going to have people over at my house and have like a graduation/get-together with a possible draft party. I'll have my friends over, my brother will be there, a lot of my family, and it'll just be a nice thing to celebrate the next chapter of my life."
Pro Day notables: Turned in a vertical jump of 35.5 inches and did a 4.25-second shuttle. Those were the only events he competed in. He also weighed in 10 pounds lighter than the 243 pounds at the Combine and, somehow, came in one inch taller.
Quotables: "Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. Yup, yup. ... I used to be nervous. I think you're more nervous about the combine than you are the draft. There's nothing I can do; I did everything I can do."
