The 6-foot-3, 232-pound linebacker visited Happy Valley over the weekend for its junior day. Hours after the visit, he said he hadn't committed -- but acknowledged he was liking PSU more than ever.
Saturday was his third trip to Penn State, the first coming during a camp and the second for the Ohio State-Penn State game. Reeder said back then that the Nittany Lions stood out because of the academics, campus and coaches -- and he said since October he wanted to commit relatively soon.
And, on Tuesday afternoon, he decided to announce his decision. He also held offers from Boston College, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Miami (Fla.), Pitt, Rutgers and Virginia.
He is the third commit and first linebacker of the 2014 class.
