Matt McGloin entered this season with a lot of question marks. He competed for the starting job in the previous two seasons, and he was never named the clear-cut starter. He was a former walk-on, a player whose arm strength was questioned, but he exceeded all expectations this year -- and boasted one of the finest seasons for a Penn State quarterback in the school's 126-year history.
