2014 cornerback Omar Truitt (Washington D.C./St. John's College) believes a Penn State offer could soon be on the way.
The 5-foot-10, 180-pound junior said he's received handwritten letters every week from the coaching staff, and he's remained in close contact with secondary coach John Butler. The staff told him they could offer him after reviewing his highlight tape -- and Truitt just sent that via Facebook on Saturday night.
"Penn State basically knows I'm going to commit on the spot," he said. "They just want to get ready for this class that's about to be up. They said they want to focus on 2014 cornerbacks, and I'm one of them on that list."
