Clemson commit Deshaun Watson is the only quarterback in the class of 2014 with an Ohio State offer.
Guiton will be gone before the current juniors hit campus. Miller might be gone as well, but for different reasons as the Heisman Trophy candidate might feel the pull of NFL riches.
Now, the 2013 high school season is in the books and yet the same thing remains true.
Aside from Watson, no offers are in the pipeline.
A Clemson commit, Watson is the No. 1 target for Urban Meyer. Watson has 9,360 yards passing and 108 touchdowns in his career, including 4,024 yards and 50 scores in his junior season. He also carried the ball 221 times and recorded 1,441 yards on the ground with 24 scores.
Watson's recruitment is a fight Meyer looks like he will take to the end. Watson has said he’s interested in visiting Ohio State.
With the offensive line the main focus of this year’s class, the Buckeyes have to be careful which offers go out. While they can’t miss at quarterback, they just might do everything in their power to land Watson before looking elsewhere.
