By Brad Bournival

Nnational signing day went incredibly well for Ohio State.

Sunday wasn’t the same, but it was in the same neighborhood.

While the Buckeyes put offensive tackle Kyle Trout, defensive end Lawrence Marshall and running back Parris Campbell Jr. on the commitment list for 2014, they also hosted a handful of other underclassmen.

Big ESPN Watch List target Jamarco Jones might have been the biggest name to make a visit, and his trip wasn’t a disaster at all.

In fact, the 6-foot-5, 285-pound offensive tackle wasted no time in going to his official Twitter account with news on how his unofficial visit was.

“Ohio State is definitely up there on my list!!!” Jones tweeted. “Had a great time here on my visit.”

ESPN Watch List wide receiver Demarre Kitt took a picture with Watch List safety Todd Kelly Jr. and reiterated that the Buckeyes were in his top two.

It wasn’t all juniors making noise as 2015 running back Damien Harris (Berea, Ky./Madison Southern) made a trip north.

With offers from Florida, Fresno State, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio State, Ohio, South Carolina, Syracuse, Tennessee and Wake Forest already, the Buckeyes took a step forward in the 5-11, 190-pound sophomore’s eyes.

“That Ohio State visit was definitely the best visit I’ve been on,” Harris said in a tweet.
