Where Ohio State targets could land

The last 48 hours have been interesting.
Ohio State target Dan Skipper flipped from Tennessee to Arkansas and Ryan Timmons said he wouldn’t be coming to Columbus, Ohio, to make another unofficial visit.
Such is the life of recruiting with national signing day in sight.
With that in mind, Midwest recruiting analyst Jared Shanker teamed up with BuckeyeNation to look at what’s on the board for Ohio State and where we think they’ll wind up on Feb. 6.
Vonn Bell (Rossville, Ga./Ridgeland): The 6-foot, 190-pound safety just finished a whirlwind of weekends where he took official visits to Alabama, Ohio State and Tennessee.
Bournival’s pick: Tennessee
Shanker’s pick: Alabama
Darren Carrington (San Diego/Horizon): The 6-3, 184-pound wide receiver is an Oregon commit and is considering Arizona, Arizona State, Ohio State and Oregon State.

James Clark (New Smyrna Beach, Fla./New Smyrna Beach): The 5-11, 175-pound Clark just came off an official visit to Ohio State and will take an unofficial look at Florida over the weekend. He also has Clemson, Northwestern and Nebraska in his sights.

Cornelius Elder (Nashville, Tenn./Ensworth): The 5-10, 170-pound ESPN 300 running back has Ohio State and UCLA in his final two, but picked up a basketball offer from Purdue on Sunday.

Cameron Hunt (Corona, Calif./Centennial): The ESPN 300 guard is committed to California, but has taken official visits to Ohio State, Oregon and Michigan. The Wolverines are now out of the picture.

Corey Smith (Akron, Ohio/East Mississippi Community College): The 6-1, 180-pound wide receiver took an official visit to Ohio State earlier this month and is a Mississippi State commit.

Ryan Timmons (Frankfort, Ky./Franklin County): The 5-11, 180-pound ESPN 300 athlete has a final official visit to Florida this weekend and an in-home visit with Ohio State on Wednesday. He’s also interested in Kentucky and Illinois.

Dontre Wilson (DeSoto, Texas/DeSoto): The 5-10, 174-pound ESPN 150 athlete just finished an official visit to Ohio State and is said to be 50/50 at this point between the two schools.
