Ohio State offers two 2013 wide receivers

By Brad Bournival

Ohio State is looking to fill a need late.

With three wideouts or slot receivers on official visits this weekend -- Shelton Gibson (Cleveland Heights, Ohio/Cleveland Heights), Cornelius Elder (Nashville, Tenn./Ensworth) and Corey Smith (Akron, Ohio/East Mississippi Community College) -- the Buckeyes broadened their horizon even more.

It started with an offer to James Clark (New Smyrna Beach, Fla./New Smyrna Beach) on Monday and continued with another one to ESPN 300 Kyrin Priester (Snellville, Ga./Brookwood).

Priester, who has been committed to North Carolina State since Oct. 7, has planned an official visit to Ohio State on Jan. 25.

Clark has been a whirlwind of sorts for the Buckeyes, as he was first contacted Sunday and then offered Monday.
