2014 LB Moore hopes to visit Buckeyes
By Corey Dowlar
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Airius Moore (Beavercreek, Ohio/Beavercreek) headed to Tropicana Field last week for the Under Armour Combine in hopes of further improving his stock.
The 6-foot, 215-pound linebacker has offers from Cincinnati and Illinois and is hearing from several programs in the Northeast and Midwest.
"Boston College sends me a lot of mail," he said. "Penn State, Ohio State, Louisville, Iowa -- I can't really think of any more."
Moore's travel plans are not too, too busy. There is a chance he'll head up to Columbus in the next month or so to check out coach Urban Meyer's program on an unofficial visit.
"Ohio State has a junior day coming up in a couple of weeks," he said. "I think I will make it to that one. They invited me to go a basketball game, too."
While on a campus, Moore will really be looking for one thing. He is a relationship-driven person, and the school he chooses has to be a comfortable one.
"I am looking for a family atmosphere and camaraderie among friends and stuff like that," he said.
