"It was the best visit so far," the junior prospect from Chattanooga (Tenn.) Baylor said. "Really liked it."
Gaglianone has also visited LSU and Duke. Nevertheless, the Buckeyes stood out as they beat Illinois 52-22 on Saturday.
When asked what stood out about the trip, the 6-foot, 200-pound prospect said, "The way people treated me, the stadium was packed, the facilities were really nice and just the atmosphere of being out there."
Like other schools, it remains to be seen if Ohio State will offer a scholarship to a kicker in the 2014 class. Clearly, it's a good sign that the Buckeyes invited him to the game. Gaglianone said administrators at Ohio State said they will evaluate several kickers at a camp next year. Gaglianone said he is considering a return visit to LSU.
