Outside linebacker Sam Hubbard (Cincinnati/Archbishop Moeller) is now an Ohio State pledge. Where he’ll play when he steps foot on the turf at Ohio Stadium is the million dollar question.

A 6-foot-5, 225-pound athlete, Hubbard continues to grow into an incredible football player. Despite his size last season, Fighting Crusaders coach John Rodenberg used his standout as a free safety. He was the hulking figure playing a hybrid linebacker/defensive back position, giving Moeller options on defense and causing problems for offensive coordinators. With his size and speed he is excellent in coverage and can play a vital role as a run stopper.

But here’s the kicker: He might not even stay at linebacker.
