The big visitor week at Ohio State started Monday with arguably the Buckeyes' biggest target in Raekwon McMillan (Hinesville, Ga./Liberty County) dropping in on Columbus, Ohio. The ESPN Watch List inside linebacker is still on campus.
It continued with wide receiver Maurice Ways (Beverly Hills Mich./Detroit Country Day) checking things out on Tuesday.
Kitt led the Patriots to an undefeated season last year and a Class AAAA title -- their third in four seasons. He made 68 catches for 1,151 yards -- a 16.9 yards per catch average -- and scored 12 touchdowns.
Wade’s visit comes on the heels of teammate and Watch List wide receiver Chris Godwin’s trip to Columbus.
Like Kitt, Wade’s Cavaliers went undefeated and won a Class 2A state title. As a junior, he completed 116 of 177 passes for 2,275 yards and threw 27 touchdowns. He also picked up 546 yards rushing and scored seven touchdowns.
Here’s a closer look at each player:

Outlook: He’s big on the tradition of the Buckeyes and announced them as the co-leader along with Clemson four months ago. He’ll be back on campus after a visit in February. Another strong trip could go a long way for Ohio State in regard to the 6-foot, 196-pound Kitt.
Offers: Boston College, Bucknell, Delaware, Massachusetts, Nebraska, Syracuse
Outlook: The 6-1, 185-pound Wade could see his recruiting hit the big time this spring as big-name schools such as Georgia, North Carolina State, Oregon, Penn State, Virginia Tech and West Virginia are showing interest along with the Buckeyes. As has been well noted, Ohio State has offered just one quarterback. Right now, Nebraska is the team to beat for Wade.
