It didn’t take long for Ohio State to offer ESPN Watch List junior Demarre Kitt (Tyrone, Ga./Sandy Creek).
In return, it didn’t take long for the 6-foot-1, 185-pound Kitt to put the Buckeyes in his top three along with Clemson and USC.
“I like them a lot,” said Kitt minutes after getting an offer from Ohio State on Tuesday night. “They’re a top program and have been for awhile.”
The fact assistant Everett Withers and the rest of the Ohio State staff has been in contact with Kitt for roughly a week and have already offered him a scholarship went even further for the junior, who has caught 44 passes for 745 yards and scored seven touchdowns this season.
While it’s still early for Kitt in the recruiting process, he knows what he’d bring to a university willing to take a chance on him and can’t wait to take the next step.
“I’m a good leader,” Kitt said. “I’m a person that likes to win and likes to get after it all the time.”
Kitt currently has offers from Alabama, Auburn, Cincinnati, Clemson, Georgia, Ole Miss, Tennessee, UCLA, USC and Vanderbilt to go with the Buckeyes. He decommitted from Georgia a month ago.
