ESPN Watch List receiver Thaddeus Snodgrass could push his decision back to late next week.
Originally planning to commit either Nov. 2 or Nov. 5, Snodgrass said an announcement might not come until Nov. 8.
"I wanna do it next Thursday," Snodgrass said. He confirmed that Nov. 8 would be the announcement date.
The 6-foot, 174-pound receiver out of Springfield, Ohio, is planning to unofficially visit Notre Dame on Saturday for the game against Pittsburgh. The Fighting Irish are in Snodgrass' top five and are considered one of the favorites along with Ohio State. Michigan State, Penn State and Wisconsin round out Snodgrass' top group.
Snodgrass previously wanted to make a midweek visit to Notre Dame this week and would visit for the Pitt game Saturday depending on who he committed to Friday. Now that Saturday visit will happen regardless.
The change in the announcement timeline has little to do with a change in his decision or recruitment. Snodgrass said the date change would be so his family can come to his announcement.
