Ohio State has been trying to get ESPN 150 receiver James Quick (Louisville, Ky./Trinity) on campus for quite some time. He will be there this weekend for the Nebraska game.
And he will bring some company, too.
Quick's Trinity teammate Jason Hatcher, a member of the ESPN 300 and a USC commit, will travel with Quick to Columbus as both make unofficial visits.
Hatcher confirmed to ESPN.com in a text message he will visit the Buckeyes unofficially Saturday.
The 6-foot-2, 240-pound Hatcher is No. 288 in the ESPN 300 and committed to USC in July -- ironically the same night as Ohio State's Friday Night Lights camp.
Hatcher expressed a desire to use all five official visits despite his USC commitment, which the Trojans coaches are fine with. USC might not have to worry about Hatcher's visit to Ohio State this coming weekend, though.
Still dealing with sanctions, Ohio State only has a few more scholarships left and already have five defensive linemen committed. The Buckeyes signed five defensive linemen in 2012, too, so unless a scholarship opens or the Buckeyes suffer a decommitment along the line there likely is not a spot for Hatcher.
Hatcher is also considering official visits to Florida and Tennessee.
