Buckeyes land scorer in Kameron Williams

Ohio State basketball coach Thad Matta got the bulldog he was looking for Tuesday.

In picking up their second ESPN 100 commitment, the Buckeyes proved they were more than a football destination when shooting guard Kameron Williams (Baltimore/ Mount St. Joseph’s) committed to Ohio State. Small forward Marc Loving (Toledo, Ohio/St. John’s) is the other 2013 commit for the Buckeyes.

What Williams brings is attitude and a lot of it. The 6-foot-3, 170-pound shooting guard has never backed down from a challenge. For that matter, he never saw a bucket he didn’t try to fill, as he backed up a sophomore season when he averaged 19.0 points per game by scoring 18.0 per game as a junior while pulling down 4.0 rebounds.
