ORLANDO, Fla. -- ESPN 300 wide receiver Johnnie Dixon (Palm Beach, Fla./Dwyer) was planning to announce his college decision last Sunday, but when his team advanced to the FHSAA class 7A state championship game, the No. 39-ranked player in the country decided to delay his decision so he could focus on helping his team with the championship.

The move paid off. Dixon, who totaled five receptions for 55 yards and a touchdown, was instrumental in leading his team to a 55-39 victory Friday night. He also added three tackles, including a tackle for loss on defense, in the win.

The four-star wide receiver will now turn his attention to recruiting -- and a decision could be coming soon.
