A look at five things that might have been missed at Ohio State’s Friday Night Lights camp this past weekend:

Cocoa beware

The headline storylines were Eric Glover-Williams (Canton, Ohio/McKinley) squaring off with Damon Webb (Detroit/Cass Tech) and perhaps the emergence of Tyree Kinnel (Huber Heights, Ohio/Wayne). But two other prospects who really stood out at the event were Cocoa (Fla.). defensive backs Jamel Dean and James Folston Jr. Dean is a 6-foot-1, 180-pound junior safety with an Ohio State offer, and Folston is a 6-2, 190-pound senior cornerback who doesn’t have any offers yet. Folston’s brother Tarean plays running back for Notre Dame and his father James played in the NFL for the Oakland Raiders and Arizona Cardinals.

Keeping up with business

The Unknown Of Cardale Jones
Austin Ward and Brian Bennett wrap up Sunday at the Allstate Sugar Bowl, where Cardale Jones was the topic for both teams, particularly the fact that so much of his play is still unknown from his lack of game time.
