The fact DeShaun Watson (Gainesville, Ga./Gainesville) has already given his verbal commitment to Clemson didn’t stop Ohio State from offering a scholarship to the 2014 quarterback.
Watson’s numbers are hard to ignore as he was 229-of-337 for 3,221 yards with 41 touchdowns last season. He also rushed 156 times for 1,073 yards and 16 touchdowns.
As a freshman, Watson passed for 2,100 yards, 17 touchdowns and five interceptions while rushing for 500 yards and five scores.
