How OSU commits fared, the early edition

September, 7, 2012
This space is usually reserved for Sunday morning, but Ohio State had one commit in action Thursday night, so naturally BuckeyeNation will give readers the scoop on how Cam Burrows (Trotwood, Ohio/Trotwood-Madison) fared against Wayne.

Burrows wasn’t picked on much in a 21-14 loss to the Warriors, registering one tackle.

Wayne didn’t exactly light the world on fire, throwing for 118 yards and rushing for 132 against the nation’s No. 4 cornerback in the ESPN 150, but scored two touchdowns in the third quarter to pull away from the Rams and hold on for the win.

Here’s where other Ohio State commits are playing this weekend (all times local to the athlete and on Friday unless otherwise noted):

J.T. Barrett: Rider (Texas) at Ryan, 7 p.m.

Marcus Baugh: John W. North (Calif.) at Alemany, 7 p.m.

Joey Bosa: St. Thomas Aquinas (Fla.) at Cypress Bay, 7 p.m.

Ezekiel Elliott: John Burroughs (Mo.), 4:30 p.m.

Michael Hill: Pendleton (S.C.) vs. Belton-Honea Path, 7:30 p.m.
