Why Georgia is always on Meyer's mind

A bug bit Urban Meyer hard in his days at Florida, a bug the two-time national championship coach can’t shake.

Meyer makes regular recruiting stops in Ohio, Florida, Texas and California, but that Georgia peach is just too hard to resist.

In the Class of 2014 recruiting cycle, Meyer has made 22 scholarship offers to Georgia recruits. In the 2015 class, he has offered six Georgians already.

The 2013 recruiting class yielded signings of Vonn Bell (Rossville, Ga./Ridgeland) and Trey Johnson (Lawrenceville, Ga./Central Gwinnett). Throw in transfer Jeff Greene (Peachtree City, Ga./Starrs Mill), and by the time 2014 rolls around, there could be a sizable contingent of Georgians on the Ohio State roster.
