Lost in the news of Ohio State offering its second quarterback from the Class of 2014 was a very good workout in front of Buckeyes offensive coordinator Tom Herman.

While Kyle Allen (Scottsdale, Ariz./Desert Mountain) was grabbing an offer and headlines, Herman was back in Urban Meyer’s old stomping ground to watch Zack Darlington (Apopka, Fla./Apopka) go through a workout.

Everything came up aces according to Darlington, who led the Blue Darters to a Class 8A state title last year.
