Ohio State joins Virginia Tech in wearing decals honoring slain journalists

Earlier this week, Virginia Tech unveiled a special decal it would wear on its helmets honoring slain Roanoke television journalists Adam Ward and Alison Parker.

Ohio State has decided to join the Hokies, and now both teams will wear the decals in their season opener on Labor Day in Blacksburg.

Ward and Parker were shot and killed while doing a live broadcast for WDBJ-7 on Aug. 26. Ward was a Virginia Tech graduate and reportedly had plans to attend the game.

Good on both schools for joining together to honor the two.
