JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- ESPN 150 offensive tackle David Sharpe (Jacksonville, Fla./Providence School) has only played one full year of high school football, but the 6-foot-6, 288-pound athlete has already caught the attention of everyone in the college football recruiting world.

The No. 2-ranked tackle and No. 12 player overall said his football success has come as a surprise.

ESPN 150 WR Scott talks recruiting

BRADENTON, Fla. -- ESPN 150 wide receiver Artavis Scott (Tarpon Springs, Fla./East Lake), as expected, was one of the top wideouts in attendance at the IMG 7v7 Southeast regional championships over the weekend.

The four-star wide receiver visited Michigan recently and said he enjoyed his experience in Ann Arbor.

Don’t expect a jump into the commitment pool from Joe Henderson (Shaker Heights, Ohio/Shaker Heights) any time soon.

The ESPN Watch List defensive end has been a student of the recruiting game and watched how former teammate Donovan Munger went through the paces before committing to Ohio State in December.

With more than 10 offers now and more soon to come, the 6-foot-3, 205-pound Henderson will wait things out before finding that perfect fit.

As the 2014 recruiting class comes more and more into focus following what was yet another strong national signing day for Urban Meyer, BuckeyeNation will take a position-by-position look at the juniors.

Today, we examine the running back position. Though it’s a position of strength for Ohio State with junior Parris Campbell Jr. (Akron, Ohio/St. Vincent-St. Mary) committing on Feb. 10, the Buckeyes aren't satisfied yet.

In the Class of 2013, Ohio State took just one running back – Ezekiel Elliott (St. Louis/John Burroughs) -- and with Jordan Hall and Carlos Hyde out of eligibility after the season, the Buckeyes could take two from the Class of 2014.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- Damon Webb (Detroit/Cass Tech) was expecting it. In fact, the ESPN Watch List cornerback was looking forward to it.

When the junior committed to Ohio State on Jan. 13, Webb knew what was awaiting him at home after choosing the Buckeyes even though his school is known as a feeder program for Michigan. Six athletes in the last four recruiting classes play football for the Wolverines with many more preceding them.
