UO commit Darren Carrington clears the air

Wide receiver Darren Carrington (San Diego, Calif./Horizon Christian) has always thought of the Oregon Ducks as his dream school. When the scholarship offer finally came his way back in June, the four-star wide receiver jumped on the offer. In his eyes, it couldn't get any better than heading north to play for the Ducks.

That's why it seemed strange when rumors of Carrington wavering on his commitment began to emerge last week.

The No. 52 wide receiver in the nation shared his thoughts, as rumors of his looming decommitment caught him off guard the way it did many Oregon fans.
