When current and former NFL stars are the ones teaching tricks of the trade and little tweaks to refine technique, it is best to pay attention. For Oregon commit and rising offensive lineman Alex Redmond (Los Alamitos, Calif./Los Alamitos), soaking up knowledge is a regular thing.
Redmond put on a strong showing at The Opening last week and walked away with some new weapons in his arsenal. Led by former Ohio State star and NFL veteran LeCharles Bentley and former Florida All-Americans and current NFL stars, Mike Pouncey and Maurkice Pouncey, Redmond embraced the advice he was given.
"It was a great experience. To have former All-Americans and NFL All-Pros teaching me their old tricks is something I'll never forget. I learned a lot about what I was doing wrong and how to improve my stance, my hands and my footwork," Redmond said.
