Wide receiver Zack Bornstein (Westlake Village, Calif./Oaks Christian) will be an intriguing recruit to watch in the Class of 2014. But it won't just be college football coaches keeping an eye on the 6-foot-4, 215-pound receiver.

Bornstein is also one of the nation's top decathletes, and could have a bright future in that discipline. He will head to New York in March to take part in the New Balance Indoor Nationals. Then he'll take part in the USATF Junior Nationals in June and will also participate in the Pan Am Games next summer in Lima, Peru.

But this past weekend, Bornstein stayed on the West Coast, as he took an unofficial visit to Oregon for the Ducks' game against Stanford. It was Bornstein's second visit to Oregon -- he was in attendance for the game against USC last year -- and while he has now witnessed Oregon's only home losses over the past two seasons, he came away impressed again.
