After an impressive spring at camps across the West Coast, Alex Redmond (Los Alamitos, Calif./Los Alamitos) became a hot commodity on the recruiting trail. Once an offer came in from the Oregon Ducks, Redmond knew he didn't need to hear from any other programs.

"It just made sense. It's on the West Coast and it's close to home. They have an incredible program and it's an honor to say that I'll be a Duck" Redmond said. "I couldn't see myself anywhere else, so I decided to commit."

With schools such as Colorado, UCLA, Washington, Boston College and more coming hard after the 6-foot-5, 302-pound lineman, he let it be known that he was all set to be a Duck.
