Cali S Arnold hearing from new schools

8/7/2012

While his teammate Tyler Foreman (Encino, Calif./Crespi) is the bigger name on the recruiting scene, fellow safety Brandon Arnold (Encino, Calif./Crespi) has plenty of eyes on him as well.

With offers from Arizona, Michigan State, Oregon State, Washington State, Colorado, Colorado State, Iowa State and Hawaii, among others, Arnold has plenty of options when looking ahead to college football.

With a strong start to his senior season he will likely see an increase in offers as he has been in touch with two new schools as of late.

"Washington and Minnesota have been calling and talking to me quite a bit. They want to come see me during the fall and check out some senior film before they offer but they both have shown a lot of interest lately" Arnold said.

Oregon is a longtime favorite for the 5-foot-11, 185-pound prospect, and Ducks' defensive backs coach John Neal is staying in touch with the Crespi duo.

"I still talk to him quite a bit. We have a good relationship. They just tell me to be patient and once my season gets underway, they'll be by to see me in action" Arnold said.

Washington defensive backs coach Keith Hayward is heading up the Huskies recruitment of Arnold.

"Coach Hayward has been calling and says they like me a lot, but they just need to see some more film to see how I've developed" Arnold said. "If things go well they said I should probably see an offer headed my way."
