Ducks add California tight end

After another slow start to the recruiting cycle, the Oregon Ducks looking to be making their move. With the recent NFTC in Eugene, unofficial visits from big prospects and the Oregon Football Camp on Tuesday, the Oregon Ducks look to be gaining some momentum on the recruiting trail.

After a visit to Eugene over the weekend that produced a scholarship offer, fast-rising tight end John Mundt (Modesto, Calif./Central Catholic) pulled the trigger for the reigning Pac-12 champions today.

"I loved my visits to Colorado, Cal, Duke, Oregon State and everyone else that has offered me, but something just felt right about my trip to Oregon. I expected to be blown away by all the facilities, uniforms and all that, but I was mostly impressed with the environment they create up there" said the 6-foot-5, 235-pound athlete.
