The Ducks are staying active on the recruiting trail and as a result, they are staying on the minds of recruits from around the country.

The Ducks have offered a number of targets in recent weeks and those offers appear to have made a significant impact on the recruits that received them. Under Mark Helfrich, the Ducks are being much more aggressive in spring recruiting by issuing more offers early in the process.

The Ducks offered another offensive lineman in Sam Jones (Highlands Ranch, Colo./ThunderRidge). Similar to Tyrell Crosby (Henderson, Nev./Green Valley), the Ducks' offer was his first from an elite program and it clearly made a big impact. The offer to the 6-foot-5, 275-pound Jones quickly vaulted Oregon to the top, just as it did for Crosby.
