Of the 10 current Oregon commits, five were still alive for state championships heading into the weekend. After another weekend, four are still standing. John Mundt (Modesto, Calif./Central Catholic), Tyrell Robinson (San Diego/Lincoln) and Tyree Robinson (San Diego/Lincoln) all came away with CIF Championships in their respective divisions in the California state playoffs.
Dontre Wilson (DeSoto, Texas/DeSoto) helped top-seeded DeSoto advance to the Texas 5A Region I final against Southlake (Texas) Carroll next week.
The lone remaining commit to lose over the weekend was Ducks offensive line commit Doug Brenner (Portland, Ore./Jesuit). The future Ducks center had his state title hopes dashed when the Crusaders fell to Eugene (Ore.) Sheldon in a semifinal matchup.
