TE commit John Mundt ready for visit

Despite the decommitment of Alex Redmond, Oregon is sitting pretty with most of its commits completely solid in their pledges. One of the most solid commits in this recruiting class is future tight end John Mundt (Modesto, Calif./Central Catholic).

Tom Hauck for ESPN.comDespite heavy interest from schools like Washington, TE John Mundt is solid in his commitment to Oregon.
Mundt has had an outstanding senior season at Central Catholic that has piqued the interest of the Washington Huskies, among others. Mundt might not be the Ducks' highest-profile commit, but that hasn't stopped their bitter rivals to the north from pursuing him. The Huskies had been in pursuit of the 6-foot-5, 235-pounder in recent weeks until Mundt made it clear where he stood.

"I told them that I'm solid with the Ducks. I always have be and always will be," Mundt said. "They just kept telling me that they like me and wanted me to get up there to visit."
