USC commit Michael Hutchings (Concord, Calif./De La Salle) gets most of the praise, fellow linebacker Victor Egu (Concord, Calif./De La Salle) is a star in his own right. The 6-foot-3, 230-pound linebacker has offers from over 15 schools and recently narrowed things down to a top eight.

Egu is focused on his senior season and leading the Spartans to a fourth straight state championship. While the season is his first priority, Egu has been working to identify the few schools that he feels will be the best fit for him.

Egu plans to take his visits after the season and says Washington, Cal, UCLA, Notre Dame, Oregon, Boise State, Arizona State and Yale will all be considered for official visits.
