Oregon recruiting: Quick hitters

Doug BrennerTom Hauck for ESPN.comPortland, Ore., defensive tackle Doug Brenner became the ninth commitment of Oregon's 2013 class on Sunday, picking the Ducks after unofficially visiting for the Fresno State game.
After a quiet stretch, recruiting is beginning to pick up for Oregon. On Sunday, the Ducks added their first commit since early July when Doug Brenner (Portland, Ore./Jesuit) pledged to the 2013 class.

The Ducks hosted their first two official visitors last weekend when two of their commits, Darren Carrington (San Diego/Horizon) and Chris Seisay (American Canyon, Calif./American Canyon) made the trip to Eugene. Two of of the three in-state commits, Thomas Tyner (Aloha, Ore./Aloha) and Evan Voeller (West Linn, Ore,/West Linn) also were in Eugene for unofficial visits.

Both Tyner and Voeller will take official visits this weekend, along with kicker commit Matt Wogan (Indian Trail, N.C./Porter Ridge).
