Among the handful of in-state unofficial visitors at Autzen Stadium for the Ducks' season-opening win over Arkansas State was one of the state's top uncommitted prospects.
Johnny Ragin III (Wilsonville, Ore./Wilsonville) opened his senior season on Friday night with a 30-20 loss to Sprague. Playing against a 6A team was a step up for his 5A Wilsonville squad, but Ragin likes the challenge of playing against bigger and better competition.
"We have a lot of good players in our league, but those 6A teams are just bigger and stronger," said Ragin, who also had two carries at running back. "It's good to play against teams like that because it gets us ready for anything we'll see at our level."
