Within the past week, Oregon was named to the top group for three elite basketball prospects.
Today some more potential big news came their way as elite junior-college big man Waverly Austin (Fredricksburg, Va./Palm Beach State) received word that he was not accepted to South Florida, according to published reports.
The bad news for the Bulls could turn into good news for Dana Altman's program, as Oregon is thought to be his new leader. He is eligible according to NCAA standards, but USF was unable to accept some of his credits from Palm Beach State.
