4-star OL Outlaw planning officials

By Kipp Adams

Four-star prospect Josh Outlaw (Lithonia, Ga./Martin Luther King) decommitted from Florida in August, and since then he has seen several programs show serious interest.

“I have been talking to TCU, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, West Virginia, and Utah the most, and those are the programs I am seriously considering right now,” Outlaw said.

Oklahoma is a program that got in touch with Outlaw recently. The Sooners are looking to add at least one more offensive tackle for the 2013 class.

“Bruce Kittle watched my film and after submitting it to coach [Bob] Stoops, he called me up,” Outlaw said. “He said they had two offensive tackles get hurt and he is just trying to put them in the best situation possible, so we have just been going from there and building a relationship. He is a great guy, a stand-up, passionate man of character and he has been talking to me about Oklahoma and what Coach Stoops has going on.”

Outlaw made his first official visit to Utah on Nov. 16, but was unable to make an official visit to Washington this week. He plans to take an official to TCU on Jan. 18 and to Oklahoma on Jan. 25. His next official will be to either Texas Tech or West Virginia. The Red Raiders are expected to do an in-home visit with the 6-foot-4, 275-pound offensive lineman Sunday night. Outlaw claims no leaders at this time.

‘I am going to just look for the one school that provides me the best opportunity,” Outlaw said.
