Staff picks: Oklahoma vs. West Virginia
By SoonerNation staff
Oklahoma 48, West Virginia 31 At the beginning of the year, this looked like it would be OU's toughest challenge. That was before West Virginia's unraveling. The Mountaineers are still dangerous, but they don't have the look of a team that can either slow the Sooners down or score enough to prevail in a shootout.

Oklahoma 49, West Virginia 35 The Sooners offense displays terrific balance with over 150 rushing yards and 350 passing yards as Landry Jones continues to run the Sooners offense with efficiency. Jones passes for four touchdowns and Damien Williams rushes for two scores of his own in the victory. Defensively, Mike Stoops' unit has its struggles with Tavon Austin at times but makes several key plays and creates a key turnover to ensure OU plays the majority of the game with a comfortable lead.

Oklahoma 38, West Virginia 34 Despite West Virginia's four-game losing streak, this will not be an easy night for the Sooners. Morgantown at night is never easy and the team should be fired up after its recent struggles and Geno Smith calling out some of his teammates. But a healthy Damien Williams helps the Sooners' shot at a BCS bid stay alive as he scores two touchdowns and rushes for more than 125 yards. Establishing the run game early allows Landry Jones to ease into the game, and he takes over in the second half to pull out the victory.
