Staff picks: Kansas vs. Oklahoma
By SoonerNation staff
Oklahoma 55, Kansas 10 Coming off Texas and with Notre Dame on deck, the Sooners probably won't be at their best for Kansas. No matter. The Jayhawks have played opponents tough in the first half, but they don't have the firepower to hang with OU in Norman. The Sooners might be sluggish early, but they'll put Kansas away and move on to Notre Dame soon enough.

Oklahoma 49, KU 13 The Sooners dominate this one as their defense plays off the charts for the third straight game and Jalen Saunders scores his first touchdown in crimson and cream with a terrific catch-and-run in the first quarter. Saunders' play sparks 21 unanswered points from the Sooners as OU puts the game away by halftime. Damien Williams continues to be a consistent big-play threat and production with another 50-plus yard touchdown run and 145 rushing yards in the contest.

Oklahoma 48, KU 16 The Sooners are due for an emotional letdown Saturday night, but I don't think anybody is going to be able to tell with the Jayhawks in town. The biggest key will be to keep everybody healthy heading into the mega-showdown with Notre Dame next week. Look for another big game from Damien Williams. And heck, we could even be talking Heisman Trophy for Williams if it wasn't for the fact Blake Bell gets all the short-yardage touchdowns. The defense causes two turnovers in the second quarter to put this one to bed early and Landry Jones has a turnover-free game.
