3 Up, 3 Down: Oklahoma 63, Texas 21

DALLAS -- A look at who was up and who was down in Oklahoma's 63-21 rout of Texas.

THREE UP

1. FB Trey Millard: The Sooners got the ball to their big fullback, and he made sure they didn’t regret it. Millard finished with 119 yards and a touchdown on five receptions and rushed for 45 yards on three carries. His 73-yard reception, which included a hurdle of a Texas defender, was the longest Sooners catch in OU-Texas history.

2. RB Damien Williams: Since taking over the starting job two weeks ago, Williams has been phenomenal. He rushed for 167 yards on 22 carries, including the 95-yard touchdown -- the longest run in OU-Texas history. Williams has the running game firing on all cylinders.

3. Mike Stoops: Bob Stoops brought his brother back with this in mind. The Sooners are playing championship-caliber defense. OU held what was the nation’s sixth-highest scoring offense to no points until late in the fourth quarter when the subs were in.

THREE DOWN

1. Offensive line health: The Sooners continue to be hampered with health issues on the offensive line. Guards Bronson Irwin and Adam Shead both had to sit out plays because of nagging injuries. Problem is, the Sooners have no one else to play, with Nila Kasitati, Tyler Evans and Ben Habern all out for the season.

2. Trey Metoyer: With Jalen Saunders getting cleared, Metoyer’s playing time could begin to shrink. Saunders caught two passes for 54 yards in limited action, while Metoyer had just 14 yards receiving. It will be interesting to see how the Sooners balance the receiving rotation going forward.

3. Extra-point team: The Sooners had the opening extra point blocked and returned for two points. It was virtually the only low-point of the game.
