Every year at Oklahoma’s summer camp there are names that pop out that weren’t initially on the Sooners' radar.

Most of those names are from recruits outside the state of Oklahoma. However, every now and then, there is an in-state recruit who sneaks up on the rest of the field.

This year that is 2014 tight end Trenton Ball (Midwest City, Okla./Carl Albert). Ball, who is 6-foot-6 and 215 pounds, didn’t get much varsity playing time last season as a sophomore but that is going to change heading into his junior season. And if his camp performance is any indication, he won’t be flying under the radar with anybody moving forward.
