It simply reached a point where four-star athlete Stanvon Taylor (Tulsa, Okla./East Central) didn't know what he was waiting for anymore. So he stopped waiting and made his move.

Taylor verbally committed to Oklahoma on Friday night, becoming the Sooners' fifth commitment for the class of 2013.

"I've been trying to hold it in for the longest," Taylor said. "It was so tough trying to get through this week."

Taylor was offered by the Sooners two weeks ago. He wanted to commit almost immediately after the offer, but his coaches and family told him to be patient. He already had confirmed he would be at Kansas State's spring game last weekend and his mother wanted to make sure everything was solid with OU.
