2014 LB Dwight Williams likes OU defense

It’s early in the recruiting process for Dwight Williams (Gardena, Calif./Serra). But the 2014 linebacker prospect already is making a name for himself. He was named the linebacker MVP of the Los Angeles Nike Football Training Camp over a group of stellar 2013 linebackers including Michael Hutchings (Concord, Calif./De La Salle), who is ranked No. 57 on the ESPN 150.

“It was great because I got the chance to compete against all of the older guys,” Williams said. “It made me want [work hard] to stay competitive and compete with those guys.”

And, more importantly for Oklahoma fans, he has strong interest in the Sooners.
