RB Justin Davis 'pretty high' on Sooners

It’s an understatement to say ESPNU Watch List running back Justin Davis (Stockton, Calif./Lincoln) was surprised when Oklahoma offered him a scholarship.
“It came out of the blue,” Davis said. “In November, my coach pulled me out of class and told me Coach [Cale] Gundy from Oklahoma had called to give me a full ride. I was so excited with that being my first offer. It was unexpected because I’d never talked to him before.
“Oklahoma? I never would have thought they would be my first offer.”
