The No. 1 receiver in the country has a new No. 1 at the top of his leaderboard.
Laquon Treadwell (Crete, Ill./Crete-Monee), No. 20 in the ESPN 150, took to Twitter to name his top school.
"Ole Miss number 1 on my list
#HottyToddy no doubt in my mind that they are..," he wrote from his account @SuccessfulQuon.
The 6-foot-3, 195-pound receiver made his first official visit last weekend and it went to the Rebels. It was Treadwell's third visit to Oxford, as he traveled there once during the summer and once for a game.
His former teammate Anthony Standifer is a freshman at Ole Miss.
Oklahoma looks to be running second for Treadwell, and the Sooners will finally get a visit Dec. 14. Treadwell had canceled visits to Oklahoma twice since the spring, once due to inclement weather and a second time because of the playoffs. Michigan was Treadwell's leader for several months, but the Wolverines continue to drop.
Treadwell, the No. 2 player in the Midwest, has said several times he would like to take all five official visits. Michigan State, Notre Dame, Oklahoma State and possibly a sleeper SEC school could land a visit from him.
